So, this week’s you capture challenge was kisses. What with Valentine’s day this week, you’d think I would have captured a whole load of kisses.
You, my friend, would be wrong. I have spectacularly failed to capture ANY kisses this week. Mostly because I have been too busy giving or receiving them to remember to take a photo. Priorities, you see.
My favourite kisses this week happened the other day. I was on the sofa and my stomach was wriggling around like nobodies business. My boyfriend came to have a look and gave the bump a kiss. Our daughter thought this was hilarious and decided to kiss the bump too. Cue many more kisses and lots of giggling.
I can’t wait until I can kiss it too.
This morning I went to the midwife for my check up. I got to hear the heart beat which is always magical, and everything is as it should be. I had to have blood taken and a student midwife stepped up. Now, I’m not good with needles at the best of times, but today? OH. MY. GOD. I don’t know what she did to me but it really, really hurt. Even now, over an hour later, my arm hurts to straighten. Poor me.
Because my man is at work, and my daughter is at nursery, there is no-one to kiss it better. Typical. So I have had to resort to my new favourite thing.
Almost, but not quite, as good as a kiss. I may or may not have eaten two packets.
Yesterday this postof mine was included by Alpha Mummy in the British Mummy Bloggers carnival. I am very honoured to have been chosen. You should check out all the other fab posts too by clicking here.
