tiddlyompompom thinks: it's time to change my ways
If you have been reading this blog for a while, you will no doubt have picked up on the fact that I don’t cook very often. It’s not that I can’t cook, it’s just that I don’t enjoy it particularly. When left to my own devices I either end up with take away or a kitchen based disaster.
Now picture the scene if you will: It’s Thursday evening. I have picked up my daughter from nursery and we are sat in traffic on our way home.
Little Lady: Get Daddy now Mummy?
Me: Not today sweetie, Daddy is away for work. He’ll be back tomorrow
Little Lady: Daddy ‘way?
Me: Yes my lovely, but he’ll be back tomorrow.
Little Lady: Get chips shall we Mummy?
Me: D’oh!
It’s not necessarily a bad thing that our two year old associates Daddy being away with having chips for tea, right? Right?
Dagnammit.

AH dear oops lol
I couldn't cook anything until about 6-7 years ago and my husband taught me. Before that we ate out nearly every single night, ah life before kids remember that?
Or he cooked. But now well I am amazed the food network hasn't approached me :p
hope you had nice crispy long thick chips

chips = carbs (important)tomato sauce = vegetable (one of your five a day, very important!)

ooh, I like your thinking. this is along the same line as chocolate = cocoa bean = vegetable = 1of your 5. now we just need 3 more and some protein and we've got a balanced diet
