window shopping

Apart from the six months between March and September 2009, I have been wearing maternity or breastfeeding tops for the last three years. I long for the day when I can buy clothes without having to consider ease of access or room for a growing tummy. Although that last one may still be a consideration if I don’t stop eating the cake. *ahem* I stopped feeding Big M at 13 months, and aim to do the same with Little M (if I can…). In the mean time, I dream. And plan my new wardrobe.

When next asked me to take part in their 12 days of christmas, I had a browse on their website. It’s the modern day window shopping. Plus I am lazy it is snowing and I don’t want to go out in the cold.

So, top of my wish list would be:

Black Sequin Detail DressDobby Smock DressPlum Swing Dress

And obviously, whatever Mr TOPP tells you, new dresses need new shoes. Fact.

Mid Heel Strap Court Shoes (Green)Fly Black Moll Tall Boots

I’m not what you would call a girly girl, but over the last couple of years I have developed a bit of a thing for dresses, can you tell? I think it must be something to do with the hormones. I think I am just missing having a reason to dress up a bit. Dresses and heels seem a little bit too much for trips to the park, playdoh, baking or building snowmen.

I can’t wait to hit the shops and treat me and my wardrobe to some new clothes. I predict a boost in the economy around June 2011…

All the items in this post can be bought at next.
