Mother Nature is a clever old bird isn’t she?
In January, the darkness of winter seems to have been here for ever.
Christmas trees no longer sparkle.
Everything looks a bit, well, dull.
Until you start to look. And if you look carefully, you will find teeny tiny signs of life.
And you will remember that the sun will return.
Yup she’s a clever old thing that Mother Nature.
Apart from one thing: teething. Surely there’s got to be a better way?

Oh, bless! Gorgeous post! I love the snippets of life emerging out there but, no, teeth emerging are no fun at all!

What a great post. Poor old Jaunuary gets a lot of flack for being dull, dark and depressing.

I was looking at some new shoots yesterday while I was out and about and getting glad that spring will soon be upon us again? You have put up some lovely photos and I agree that teething is not one of mother natures finest things!

Aww, I love cloudy days… it's like nature's diffuser for taking great photos without glaring shadows!
Hope the lil one's teeth come through asap so you can get on with cuddles and playing and nap times and sleep and all… x

You're right, there is nothing fun or beautiful about teeth pushing their way into the world. But your photos are gorgeous. I wish I had some signs of life in my garden but we only moved here last June and I didn't have time to look after the garden last year – guess what my project is this year???

It is lovely to see the new growth
As for teething, I reckon the babies born with teeth got it right!! Jen

oooh the Jasmine's out! must go look at mine.
I can't quite get my had around how to get the teeth in the mouth after breastfeeding without the cutting them part. Maybe Mother Nature couldn't either…bless Calpol is all I can say!

Great photos. As for the teething, I feel your pain as we have the last few teeth coming through here. Can't wait for it to all be over. You're right, there has to be a better way.

Great pictures! Love the condensation one especially … you really get a feel for that hot/cold juxtaposition.

Lovely photos. I haven't seen many green shoots round our way yet so this cheered me up. My husband is the only one in our house not being troubled by tooth growth at the moment – I can see why it bothers the kids so much as my new wisdom tooth is doing my head in.

ow, wisdom teeth are NASTY
hope they don't give you too much more trouble
