If you are new to my blog, you may not know that I have a day zero list. Number 70 on my list is to grow our own herbs and use them in our cooking. It appears my fairy godmother (otherwise known as Ian from appliances online) found out about my desire to grow herbs, and sent me a grow your own herb garden. Yay!
Big M and I planted the seeds last week, and already some of them are starting to sprout. I like to think this is due to my green-fingered gardening prowess. Mostly it is because I read the instructions. If I just applied that technique to my cooking we would all be better off. *sigh*

Am in complete awe of anyone that does anything to do with gardening. I am far to worried about getting soil in my phone. Of course it could also be because there are spiders and cobwebs, neither of which I am compatible.

That's brilliant! Homegrown things taste much better than shop bought. Especially when someone else does the growing (thank you grandad). How is the Day Zero list going? I started one at the beginning of the year but I haven't got very far with it yet. So, if my fairy godmother is listening, I wouldn't mind a hand with learning a magic trick, or baking bread, or going on holiday, or y'know, all of it really
