Today is the 4th April.
Today it is snowing/raining/blowing a gale.
Today is not a day for venturing far from my sofa.
Today I made a start on my personal challenge. And in doing so, I invented a whole new game that I am going to share with you now.
It is called ‘Name That Part”. The possibilities are endless and potentially hilarious, but given that this is the first time we have played it we’ll keep it simple shall we? Good plan.
Today we will be naming the parts of a sewing machine. Or, more accurately, you will be naming them. I
have no clue know the answers already, obviously. •ahem*
All of the following were in the sewing machine case. It is entirely possible that some/many of them aren’t even part of the sewing machine. My grandpa had a penchant for taking things apart, including a very expensive watch of my granny’s so that he could reuse parts/screws to build his telescope. Still, this adds to the excitement of the game, doesn’t it?
So, without further ado, here are the parts that require naming.*
Even I can tell that 1-6 are some type of footer thing, but what do they do? Number 7 is the bit that goes under the foot thing. What I need to know is why this one has a round hole in the middle and the other has a line?
Answers on a postcard please. Or in the comments.
Good luck! And thanks in advance for your help
