life three Tweet Today my baby has declared herself a “Big Girl” and is a whopping three years old. How did that happen? I’m pretty certain we’ve only just brought her home from hospital. Last night we had a chat about birthdays and stuff. Me: So, Little M, how old are you today? Little M: TWO! Me: And how old will you be tomorrow? Little M: FWEEE!! Me: That’s so grown up. *sniff* So, what’s your favourite colour? Little M: Pink. And it’s Big M’s. Me: I know. What’s your favourite number? Little M: Fwee. Me: Because you’re three tomorrow? Little M: Yup. Me: What’s your favourite food? Little M: Pasta. OMNOMNOM. Me: So, when you grow up and have a job, what do you want to be? Little M: Helpful. Me: Who do you love? Little M: Granny. Me: Me too. Anybody else? Little M: J (her cousin) Me: Anyone else? Little M: Nope, just Granny and J. Me: Fair dos. And who loves you? Little M: YOU! And Daddy and Big M. ******** Too right we do. Happy birthday little big girl. share the love May 13, 2013 By tiddlyompompom #awesomeness #birthdays #family #mummying #out of the mouths of babes #where did the time go? 6 comments Previous Post silent sunday Next Post powering through tiddlyompompom 6 Comments Reply Jocelyn May 13, 2013 at 7:18 pm It’s scary how quickly it goes, isn’t it? My oldest is 3 and my baby is nearly 9 months old and that has been ‘blink of an eye’! Lovely conversation – especially like that she wants to be ‘helpful’ – that’s very sweet and a nice ambition to have :-). Hope you all had a great day x Reply tiddlyompompom May 15, 2013 at 7:36 pm Thank you, we had a lovely day. Can't believe I have such a big girl! Reply clairetiptop May 14, 2013 at 6:38 am Awwh it's fun being phweeee Happy birthday My recent post Magpie Monday hitting the jackpot Reply Verity Beau May 14, 2013 at 10:24 pm Happy Birthday to Little M. I hope you had the best day ever. What a lovely little conversation! My grandson is proudly telling us all he's now four and starting big school tomorrow. (because he's four) Even though he isn't actually starting big school tomorrow….. he's got a long wait! Reply tiddlyompompom May 15, 2013 at 7:37 pm I will have this problem next year. She's desperate to go to Big M's school, so have told her she'll go when she's 4. Will have to work on her concept of time/months before next may 🙂 Reply Verity Beau June 22, 2013 at 11:18 pm It'll come round faster than you expect. Grandson has just started his taster days at his new to be school. My daughter says he is seeming all of a sudden grown up & now wants him to stay ickle. Heehee! Come to think of it, my daughter is very grown up & her starting primary school seems like it only just happened a couple of years ago !! I know it wasn't because she is a dab hand at getting herself dressed now (she's in her 30s) & yet she never could for primary school. She could sit for hours with one sock in her hand. Although, that might have been a plot to stay at home 🙂 My recent post The First Page (ever). Leave a Reply Cancel Reply Name* Email* Website Notify me of follow-up comments by email.
